Day1 - Arrival at Delhi
Arrive Delhi and get assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel. Board the overnight luxury coach to Manali (1850 meters) in the Kullu Valley, after relaxing at the hotel in Delhi.
Day2 - Arrive Manali
Arrive Manali in the morning and check in the hotel with having the complete day for leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Manali.
Day3 - Manali - Prini - Syth
Drive to the Prini, just a half and hour drive from Manali where the trek begins. Camp in a narrow valley, few kilometers beyond the Sythen Village (2710 meters). Overnight stay in the tent.
Day4 - Sythen - Chikha
Trek through lush green high altitude pastures to a beautiful camp site at Chikha (3270 meters). The area is speckled with wild flowers and there are a few waterfalls just behind the campsite. Overnight stay in tents.
Day5 - Chikha - Bhalu ka Der
Easy walking starts at the Chikha till Bhalu ka Dera at the base of the Hamta Pass Trek which is literally translated into Bears Camp where small brown bears use the caves around to hibernate in the winter. Overnight stay in tents.
Day6 - Bhalu ka Dera - Hampt
Climbing to the top of the Hampta pass (4270 meters) takes about 3-4 hours with full of the challenges throughout the trek. The view from the top of the Hampta pass is absolute amazing with the high peaks and stunning mountain scenery. Overnight stay in tents.
Day7 - Siliguri - Chatru
Get the first view of the Chandra Valley and Lahoul today and after the two river crossings you get to the Chatru which is on the road head and the end of the trek. Get the pick up at the Chatru by motor vehicle and drive back to the Manali over the Rohtang Pass. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day8 - Manali - Delhi
Drive back to Delhi from Manali by Deluxe coach. Check in at hotel after reaching Delhi. Overnight stay will be at the hotel. The stay at Manali can be extended by a day for sight seeing around Kullu-Manali for some additional cost.
Day9 - Depart Delhi
Depart Delhi for onward destination. |
